The nave altar is of laminated tawa wood, with matching supports and candlesticks, the latter being given by Christ's College. New clergy seats and prayer desks, also made of New Zealand tawa wood, surround the altar. The choir stalls directly behind the nave altar were added in 1992, the frontals being constructed also from New Zealand tawa. These stalls are portable, which assists in being able to move the stalls depending on where they are to be located for different services.
