Himalayan Harper
Harper the Cathedral bear has taken to traveling. We recently received this interesting image from Malcolm and Bronwyn King of Bryndwr, Christchurch. In November 2011 hey took Harper as a traveling companion to the Himalayan mountains. Harper walked the Annapurna Circuit with them and is seen here at the Thorong La Pass, (5,400 metres) held high by guides. Taken with the spectacular scenery, Harper chose to remain and now lives in the Himalayan mountain village of Gorepani, with a Sherpa family after being gifted to little Gossame, daughter of one of the guides. If you're planning a trip, why not take 'Harper'. Contact Craig 353 7884 at the Cathedral office. He'll be very pleased to discuss how this little bear may companion you on your journey.
